Psychotherapy

At Our Wellness Space, our therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. We believe in the power of personalized care and strive to create a safe space for self-discovery and healing.

My approach is client-centred and trauma‑informed. I prioritise creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and validated, and where therapy progresses at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I draw on a range of evidence‑based therapies tailored to each individual’s needs, values, and goals, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and compassion‑focused approaches. I am transparent about the therapeutic approaches I recommend and view therapy as a collaborative process, often integrating multiple models to support the best possible outcomes.

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment that recognises and builds upon each client’s strengths. I value the commitment clients make in therapy and aim to provide practical, empowering tools that can be applied in everyday life. Alongside my clinical work, I have published research on the role of self‑compassion in body image distress and psychological wellbeing in the Journal of Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine, reflecting my ongoing commitment to evidence‑based and compassionate care.
